40 weeks ... whoop-dee freakin doo...

Well, doc says I'm 2 cm and 60% effaced ... yipp-dee-doo-dah-day ... we scheduled an induction for Tuesday at 5 am. Here are some pictures.
This is my lopsided belly ... his feet are pushing out on the right side and his bum is pushing out in the front left.
Shane and I went to the temple today and had a sister missionary take some pictures of us together.

These are my bare belly shots for 40 weeks... I had hoped I wouldn't make it this far ;)

Here are some pictures for the last few weeks ...

Here's a 38 week belly picture
Here are some 39 week pictures, I am demonstrating how I can fit my whole hand between his booty and my ribs.

This is Tyson ... he's a skunk now.
I just thought this picture of Jim was funny. He digs this hole bigger every day to get to the cool dirt.

So I got tagged ...

3 Joys...

1. Obviously my stud muffin Shane ... what can I say, he's amazing.
2. My little bundle of joy, that hopefully will come soon!!!!
3. My family, and I mean ALL my family. I wish I could see everyone more often, and hope that Tayson will have a close relationship with everyone.

3 Fears ...

1. I'd say my biggest fear is losing the people I love. I don't ever want to be without them.
2. I have a fear of heights!!! I love the adrenaline rush though when I'm up high, especially on a roller coaster.
3. Just coasting through life and not accomplishing anything. I have a huge fear of that, and need to get my butt in gear and do what it takes.

3 Goals...

1. I think number one is to be a good wife and a good mother. I can only hope that I have what it takes.
2. I want to get my degree, whether it be just an associates in gen ed or my baking degree, I want to go back to school.
3. Be successful in whatever it is I chose to do, while still being a good mother.

3 Obsessions...

1. Umm ... staying close to my family. I will go WAYYY out of my way to stay close to them and trying to keep everyone happy.
2. Sugar ... I love sweets, anything with sugar in it doesn't last long around me. Why do you think I want to go into baking? ;)
3. I must admit that I'm way obsessed with the Twilight series ... I seriously could NOT put those books down. I'm excited for #4 and am going to be UPSET if the movie is not up to par.

3 Random Facts...

1. I actually encouraged Shane to date a couple of my friends that liked him before we started dating ... they liked him, and so did I, but I've never been one to compete for a guy. I always figured if it was supposed to be, it would happen. Well, apparently it was supposed to be, considering it happened.
2. I'm becoming more and more like my mother, and more and more like my father all at the same time. Shane tells me all the time that I'm acting like one of them ... hopefully I'm becoming like them in the good ways :S... Not that there are any bad ways to be like them!!!!! :P
3. None of my shirts fit anymore ... and what's sad, is none of Shane's do either now. How sad is that?!? Man this baby needs to come!

I tag Dee ... Love ya Dee!

6 days and counting ...

Ok, so I know I've been really bad about posting updated pics of my belly ... sorry. All my stuff has been packed in my hospital bag for the last week, and I've just been lazy. We're still doing good, he's still kicking me in the ribs, but I think he's dropped even more. I can feel where his rump is. I think he's got some dang long legs though, and I think he does the splits, unless his arms are long too, because I get kicked in some strange spots at the same time. Anyway, I'll post some pics soon, I'm just still lazy today! =P

HOO-nah ...

No progress ... Doc said I'm still only at a 1 and 40% still. Although he did say that he was dropped a little. Guess Tayson is holding out for his due date, at least that's how it seems.

HOORAH!!

I went for another check up today, I am 1cm and 40% effaced!!!! Hooray! At least there's some progress going on, and considering it was only after 4 days, I'd say it's pretty good!

Here comes 37 ... and there it goes ...

I realize that most women end up having their first babies after the due date, but I had hoped to make quite a bit of progress with the amount of contractions I've been having. Doc said that I'm just barely starting to soften, and no dilation worthy of noting. Then again, I've decided that I'd rather not get my hopes up, rather than be dilated and ready to go, and then just wait around for the next 3 weeks or more. Anyway, here's a pic of 37 weeks.
