So Tayson likes to be holding things when he goes to sleep. He also, unless he's just really tired, has to have a pacifier, or something to suck on (his fingers) in his mouth. As soon as he knows he's being put to sleep, his hand goes straight to his pacifier to hold onto, and then moves his hand and pulls it out, so he starts squirming and waking up. So I used to give him his pacifier to suck on and my finger to hold onto, but as soon as I would move my finger he would wake up and his hand would go straight to the pacifier in his mouth. So... this was my solution.
One in the mouth (the only one he'll actually keep in) and the others, that we bought to try (because they were cheaper) but didn't work, in each hand. Perfect!
