Young Women's ... here I come!

So I'm in Young Women's ... again! And I love it! I've only been there one Sunday, but it just felt so familiar and right. I'm going to love it and I can't wait to get myself completely involved in it. I'm the new Beehive Advisor. Basically that means that I teach on Sundays and go to the Mutual Activities on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, I have class on Wednesdays, so I won't be able to go until the semester ends. I am so excited though about all of the leaders that are in there, not to mention all the girls! I had these girls when I taught 12 turning 13 year olds for Sunday School. I'm excited to get to know them better, since I only taught them for a few months before I got released.

Unfortunately, my first lesson is on Chastity. Really?! I mean ... seriously?! At least I've taught these girls before, but I couldn't have come 1 week later and avoided it all together!? Oh well, hopefully it will go well. I know that these lessons are necessary. I know that when I was in Young Women's, when these lessons came around, it was really awkward, but oh so helpful.

I had the BEST Young Women's leaders. Such great examples and so much fun. I still go back and visit them whenever I can. I just hope that I can be as much of positive influence in these girls' lives as my leaders were in mine. Anyway, I was just so excited and I can't wait to get to know these girls more!!
