I went to the Dr's appt, and I only gained 1 lb since my last one, which means only 21 lbs total. That's actually right where I'm supposed to be and he said he was proud of me for only gaining 1 lb. He said I was measuring right where I'm supposed to be and that in 2 appt's from now, in 4 weeks (BECAUSE I FINALLY GET TO GO EVERY 2 WEEKS NOW! and I heard that helps make the time go faster) we're going to do an ultrasound. Well I'll be 35 weeks then. He also said that with my Gestational Diabetes (by the way, it's very borderline to the point that I just have to watch what I eat, and not extremely closely) and with me being over a 9lb baby and with Shane's family history of over 9 lb babies, he thinks this is going to be a big baby. I have a small glimmer of hope that it won't be, but we'll see.
My main fear for labor is that I'll have to do a c-section, Shane think's I'll have to. Although I was talking to my girlfriend Alisha, who just had to have an emergency one in January, said that it wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. She was able to be awake, and said that most people are, unless they're far into labor and haven't had an epidural yet. They just turn the epidural up. I just want to be awake when my baby comes out of me and I want to hear the first cry.
Tayson has been extremely active (which the dr also liked), and the other night Shane and I were laying in bed and my stomach was up against his side. This is usually Tayson's most active time, and Tayson started to kick him and then got the hiccups. I had to laugh because Shane was like "how can you sleep like this? he keeps kicking me and it kind of tickles!" I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, this is gotten really long and not really just an FYI anymore. ;) Love you all!

Yay for babies! I'm getting so excited for you. Can't wait to hear when he arrives. By the way, C-sections are only scary when you haven't had one yet. I've delivered both ways, so feel free to ask me any questions you might have about either one. 9lbs, huh? I'm glad I didn't have any like that... yet. (6lbs 12oz-Sarah, 4lbs 10oz and 5lbs even- Alex and Lucas, then 7lbs 14oz- Audrey) So, good luck with that!
