My WONDERFUL, ADORABLE niece Savanna is going to have a character named after her in a book. The author is in her ward, and decided on Savanna to name a character after.
Here is the link to the author's blog and she has a post about Savanna and another boy she chose for characters. I'm not sure if the actual character will be based on her, but she is named after her. She also has one of my favorite pictures of Savanna too, so you can check that out. So I've been debating for sometime on whether or not to leave a message, and because I'm feeling slightly sentimental at this moment, I think I will.....maybe against my better judgement...,maybe not. You are the first wife of one of my cousins that I have not had the privilege of knowing. My only connection to you was my little cousins calling me by your name and other tidbits of information I would hear from them. Anyway, I wanted to take time and thank you for making them feel special when they are over there on the weekends, and especially for Trent now that he is staying there most of the time. Also from reading through your blogs, I can assume that you are trying your best to be a good example to them as well. Again, thank you. I'm glad Shane found himself a wife and mother for his children that he can be proud of. May your lives be richly blessed. I hope you do not feel that I am intruding, this is just another way I have been able to hear how my family is doing...I miss what I thought I had, especially on days like today.
